the WiSo Career Service welcomes you to the start of the semester! Take part in our numerous career events and get to know exciting employers!

In April, we are starting internationally: On 23rd April at Career Tuesday International and at our virtual Global Fair on 24th April, we will focus on your prospects for internships abroad together with the ZIB.

We would also like to draw your attention to our digital Career Tuesday series, which takes place every Tuesday at 5.00 pm via Zoom. Here, experts from SMP Strategy Consulting talk about the importance of leadership and management skills. The presentation on the optimal use of LinkedIn with an alumna's insights as well as the tips on salary negotiations from MLP or the insights into career opportunities for students of social sciences and economics will also be exciting.

The Meet'n Greet Sustainability networking event on16th May is also a special highlight.

We welcome experts from Gateway, Help, KPMG, Metro, the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Industry, Climate Protection and Energy of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia, Safaric Consulting and Sozialbank. Student initiatives with a focus on sustainability are also cordially invited. The networking event will take place in the WiSo-Kaffeebar from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm.

We will also be on tour and on campus again and you can engage in intensive discussions at workshops with Deloitte, AXA, BnP and PwC.

In summer term 2024, the ProfessionalCenter offers numerous practical and job-related soft skill training as well as trainings for your studies. Bachelor's students receive 3 credit points for successful participation as part of the Studium Integrale. Master's and teacher training students can have their participation credited in the extracurricular programme.

Presentation on Sustainability Life Cycle Solutions in Banking with BNP Paribas on 11th April 2024

Take this special opportunity to learn more about sustainability life cycle solutions in banking at our event with BNP Paribas! We will meet on 11th April 2024 at 6.00 pm in lecture hall XXIV of the WiSo building. First, BNP Paribas will introduce itself as a company and give you an insight into how its products enable sustainability life cycle solutions. You will also learn about the IT aspect of this topic. Afterwards, you will have the unique opportunity to ask BNP Paribas your questions during a Q&A and learn more about internship opportunities. We will end the evening with a relaxed get-together in a Cologne pub, where you will have the opportunity to ask more questions and network. Drinks will be provided!
