The QS World University Ranking compares 1000 universities worldwide. It evaluates four major areas that are primarily of interest to prospective students: research, teaching, employability and international focus. These key areas are assessed against six indicators, each with different weighting: academic reputation (40%), employer reputation (10%), faculty–student ratio (20%), citations per faculty (20%), proportion of international faculty staff (5%) and proportion of international students (5%).
In the latest ranking "QS World University Rankings by Subject 2020 - Business and Management" the WiSo Faculty is in 7th place among German universities.
