If you’re already studying Vocational School Teacher Training and would like to find out more about specific details of your bachelor programme, you’ll find what you’re looking for on the programme structure.

The WiSo Faculty – in conjunction with the other teacher-training faculties – runs the Bachelor of Arts in Vocational School Teacher Training I (Economics + teaching subject) as a teaching bachelor.

Graduates from the “Bachelor with an education component” programme for vocational school teachers are qualified in Economic Science. Apart from this specialisation, the programme consists of compulsory educational science subjects, incorporating an internship to establish the student’s aptitude and provide them with a general idea of the profession, a vocational school teaching internship and the student’s second chosen subject.

Students on the Bachelor of Arts in Vocational School Teacher Training I must be proficient in German. More information concerning the programme is available in German here: Lehramt an Berufskollegs - Bachelor of Arts
