The WiSo study advisors offer orientation and competent advice in every phase of the study programme which is always goal-oriented and open-ended.
From the start of your studies to graduation, we support you in organising your studies independently and on your own responsibility. All advisory services are offered in one place in the faculty - at the WiSo Student Service Point (WiSSPo).
If your request cannot already be answered at the reception desk in the WiSo Student Service Point, you will be referred to one of the student advisors.
Overview: What topics do we advise on at WiSSPo?
Guidance on examination matters
We can already clarify many questions with you in the WiSSPo including specific examination matters.
If not, we will take over communication with the examination office for you. We are in close contact with our colleagues and will then send you concrete feedback to your s-mail address. We will be happy to support you by phone, e-mail or in person if you are unsure about your request. As a UoC student, please only use your s-mail address if you have questions by e-mail.
How to reach the WiSo examination Office:
For some requests, an informal, written application may be necessary for (data protection) legal reasons. Please send us this request, signed by hand only, via the contact form as a PDF attachment. We will be happy to forward your request to you and you will receive a reply by telephone or post directly from the colleagues in the Examinations Office. Please note, however, that for capacity reasons we cannot provide information on the processing status of submitted applications. The Examinations Office itself can only be contacted by post or fax.
What does an informal, written application for the Examination Office contain?
In your application, you freely describe your request. In addition, the application should contain the following information:
First and last name, matriculation number, degree programme, version of examination regulations, telephone number, e-mail address.
The application must be signed by hand.
