Interactive start-up business game for students of the Faculty of Management, Economics and Social Sciences
In cooperation with the Gateway Excellence Start-up Center, the WiSo Career Service of the University of Cologne from March 25-26, 2021 offers a simulation-based business simulation game with the corresponding simulation software from the company priME.
Are you enthusiastic about the start-up culture and would like to put your start-up skills to the test? Test your skills as a founder of a new business with the interactive business game for students of the WiSo faculty!
In a team of three to six people you take over the management of a virtual company. On the way from the actual founding idea to the market entry you make strategically important decisions that influence the success of your company. Together with your team members you develop a strategy, create a business plan and define the success criteria of your company. On your way you will be accompanied by an experienced coach who will support you with help and advice.
In the course of the start-up simulation game with the simulation software priME SIM, you will learn important aspects of business administration and economics and have the opportunity to apply these insights directly. On the way to a successful and future-oriented business start-up, you will also need a willingness to take responsibility, creativity and team spirit.
The business start-up simulation with the software priME SIM is held digitally. For a smooth participation you only need a stable internet connection and access to a common browser of your choice.
Business games are simulations of reality and thus offer the advantage that the participants can make decisions that could occur in practice without having to bear the consequences. The latter can still be experienced, so that the consequences are not purely theoretical, but have an influence on the further course of the game within the simulation. Especially with regard to the own foundation, which in reality is connected with considerable risks, the "foundation on trial" within a business game simulation is therefore reasonable.

- The event will take place all day on 25th & 26th March 2021.
- The seminar is designed for a maximum number of 25 participants.
- No credit points can be awarded for participation.
Please note that the participation in this event requires fluent knowledge of the german language.

Time: from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
Where: You will receive access zoom data two days before the start of the event.
