Still open: apply now for a term abroad in spring term 2024
The ZIB Wiso offers a secondary STAP selection round with a reduced list of universities available for a term abroad in spring term 2024. The secondary selection round will remain open until 1 June 2023 through the WEX platform.
All information on application requirements and recommendations are listed in the STAP Bachelor application manual (available here).
We strongly recommend discussing your application with your ZIB coordinator Mareike Laub – either by e-mail (mareike.laub
uni-koeln.de ) or an individual appointment (ZOOM or in-person). You can find the contact details and more information here.
FILTERtests for English language certificate
Bachelor students, who need a proof of English language proficiency (i.e. for their STAP application for a term abroad), can now register for the FILTERtest offered in May 2023. Infosession for the Master Health Service Research
Dear students,
Some of you are in the final phase of your Bachelor's degree. Are you considering a Master's degree? Do you know the Master's programme in Health Service Research (not yet)?
Then we would like to take this opportunity to cordially invite you to the information event on 27.06.23 from 17.30 to 18.30 (via Zoom) for the Master's degree programme: Health Service Research (M.Sc.). Prof. Dr. Holger Pfaff will present the programme at the event. Those who are interested and (still) undecided will also have the opportunity to ask the lecturers questions.
If you would like to participate in the event, please register informally with Ms. Nina Dräger (lehrsekretariat-imvruk-koeln.de). You will receive the access data a few days before the event.
The M.Sc. in Health Service Research is a practice-oriented research master's degree with an organisational focus that qualifies you for tasks in research, development and organisation of health care concepts. Possible employers later on are, for example, companies in the health care industry, research institutions, professional and interest associations (e.g. the National Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians), insurance carriers or health and social policy institutions. The re-accreditation of the study programme is currently taking place.

Presentation on Risk Management Solutions
We are pleased to announce that we will be hosting a presentation of Deutsche Bank on the 23th of May 2023. First of all, the Risk Management Solutions department will introduce itself. After that we will talk about the latest news on the interest rate and currency market and the focus of the event will be on currency management. The standard instruments for currency hedging and automation in currency management will be discussed. Afterwards, we will talk about entry-level programs and internships at Deutsche Bank and you can ask questions during a Q&A session. The event starts at 6pm and will take place at the WiSo Faculty of the University of Cologne. The entire presentation will be held in German.

The World Business Dialogue is a non-profit student initiative based at the heart of Cologne's student life. We have set ourselves the goal of giving motivated students the opportunity to come into contact with corporations from all over the world.
All of our seven departments offer you numerous opportunities to develop yourself further and meet like-minded new people with whom you are free to even enjoy a Kölsch in the office sometimes. Participate in numerous events, whether it’s one of our creation labs, podcasts or congresses, realize your own ideas and support us in our projects.
