The Special Fields content 12 to 48 Credits. All modules are not compulsory, but a minimum of two modules in between the section "Seminars" has to be chosen.

All modules are part of one or more fields.
Altogether six fields are offered:

Field 3: Macroeconomics, Money and Financial Markets
Field 4: Macroeconomics, Growth and Inequality
Field 5: Public Economics
Field 6: Statistics and Econometric

For excellent students „Master Doctoral Tracks“ provide the opportunity to start doctoral studies during the Master Programs. The Cologne Graduate School (CGS) gives further information and shows regulations for the application.
