Ethics award
About to write your final thesis, so have you already considered the WiSo Ethics Award? In the coming semester, the WiSo Faculty will present the WiSo Ethics Award. The Award celebrates outstanding theses dealing with ethics and responsibility. This is your chance to stand out! The internship platform is a free service of the WiSo-Career Service for employers and students of the WiSo Faculty. The aim is to help you get in touch with potential employers during your studies and gain practical experience to make it easier for you to start your career.

Debt, taxes and reforms: Special episode of the ECONtribute-Wirtschaftspodcast on the German national elections
Can the German economy be saved by a new government? Should the debt brake be suspended? And are the announced tax reforms realistic or just the usual election campaign rhetoric?
These are the questions discussed by Christian Bayer, Professor of Macroeconomics at ECONtribute at the University of Bonn, and Felix Bierbrauer, Professor of Economics at ECONtribute at the University of Cologne, in two special episodes on the German national elections. We discuss whether the parties’ proposals are economically sensible, how they are to be financed and why electoral promises can be dangerous.
