Excursion to the new Gateway branch
Come along to the think tank of Cologne students and experience entrepreneurship in Cologne on a new level! We will visit the new, just built Gateway building together and learn a lot about the offers there and the start-ups that bring their innovative concepts to life there and are supported with advice. Whether you want to start up too or are just curious about this creative place, come along for the field trip!
 
About Gateway:
The Gateway Excellence Start-up Center (ESC) at the University of Cologne promotes entrepreneurial thinking and action. Those interested in founding a company and start-ups receive competent advice on funding and business models and can use co-working spaces and an incubator program. The accelerator program focuses on leadership, team development and internationalization.

After a short welcome, we will be given an exclusive tour of the new and impressive building, which is full of innovative spirit. Afterwards, our host Gateway - the Excellence Start Up Center of the University of Cologne - will introduce its exciting work areas, followed by two of the start-ups supported there, who will present their innovative ideas and answer your questions. The rest of the time is meant for socialising in a relaxed atmosphere with mulled wine, beer and snacks. You can exchange ideas in peace and quiet and end the day together. The event offers a great opportunity to make new contacts and have exciting conversations.

04.30 - 05.30 p.m.          Gateway introduces itself plus input on Effectuation of decision-making principles for                                            successful entrepreneurial action followed by a discussion
05.30 - 06.10 p.m.          2 Start-Up examples including an open Q&A session
from 06.10 p.m.             Convivial networking with Glühwein, beer and snacks (until ca. 8.00 p.m.)
