After university, into the job and onto the career ladder - that holds some surprises for all graduates. But what challenges do you face as a woman in particular? And how can one react to it skilfully? Katharina Gründig Figueiroa works as a Global Brand Manager at Koelnmesse GmbH and has over 20 years of professional experience in marketing and the events industry. She is on the board of the company's internal women's network and is also active in various regional networks. Her life includes skills and career just as much as child and cone. Her credo: You can achieve a lot in life - if you want to and have the right strategy.

In a lecture with many interactive elements for guessing and thinking along with you, questions will be answered like:

• How do I make sure to get the same salary as my male colleagues?
• How do I get the really interesting projects?
•  Am I being approached as a specialist or as a woman?
• What tips and tricks are there for asserting oneself in more male-dominated environments?
• Why do I have to recognise power games and how do I react?
• How do I answer in the job interview, if family planning is addressed after all?
• How do I set the right course for later?
