The double degree is integrated into the regular master's programmes. It includes courses from both universities and is based on credit transfer. You will write a master's thesis during your forth and fifth semester of studies, back in Cologne.
Programme
You can combine your studies at the University of Cologne with the study option at the Indian Institute of Management Ahemdabad. Courses
You will begin your studies in Cologne in the winter semester, studying core method modules and courses of the supply chain management specialisation. You will head out to the IIMA the following June for three IIMA semesters, where you will take 18 IIMA credits in elective management courses. After returning to Cologne in March, you will take further courses in your specialisation, including a seminar in the summer semester and you will write your master’s thesis in the following winter semester.
The courses offered by the two universities cover a wide range of topics and complement each other very well. To get an idea of the content of the courses, take a look at the UoC course catalogue and the IIMA course list. There may be minor changes to the course catalogues in future academic years.
