Successfully into Your Internship – Tips for Applications and Job Searching

A degree in social sciences opens up a wide range of career opportunities. But which path suits your interests and strengths best? Gaining practical experience during your studies – for example, through an internship – is a great way to explore different professional fields and develop valuable insights.

In the winter semester 2025/26, the WiSo-Career Service will offer a compact group session that covers the key steps for finding a suitable internship.

Starting early with internships and building connections with potential employers can be major advantages. During the session, we will show where to look for internships that align with your goals, how to craft a compelling application that stands out, and what to expect in an interview – from common questions to the general process.

The WiSo-Career Service warmly invites all interested students to take part in this session. The focus will be on providing practical guidance, helpful information, and room for individual concerns.
