with the semester coming to an end, we would like to invite you to our last CFR event for this summer term.

Together with Karl-Nils Rolfes and Simon Röhr from Deloitte we will discover the current and future trends in the asset management industry. As a global leader in providing services to the asset management industry Deloitte is closely connected to the largest asset managers in the market. Thus, they can provide us with valuable insights on the current challenges and opportunities these asset managers face.

The presentation will take place today, Wednesday the 5^th of July, at 6pm in the seminar room S16 (seminar building 106). After the presentation you will have the chance to ask your questions about the presentation as well as on job opportunities at Deloitte in a casual atmosphere. We are looking forward meeting you on site!

Last chance to get your tickets: This Friday, the time has come: On 07th July 2023 at 5 pm, the Dialogue Night will take place at the WiSo Faculty of the University of Cologne under the title "The AI revolution: Are we ready for the future?". Here, representatives from business, politics and academia will meet ambitious students in a relaxed atmosphere to engage in exciting debates on the topic of AI, learn new things about it and network. There will be about 50 students and about 25 entrepreneurs, scientists and AI experts on site.

The event will start with an introductory talk, which will be followed by keynotes. Our speakers for the evening are Najat Messaoud (Microsoft), Thomas Jarzombek (Bundestag) and Johannes Naumann (DHL Express). The keynotes will be followed by a discussion where questions from the audience will be asked to shed light on the evening's topic from different angles.

After the discussion, you will have the opportunity to exchange ideas in small groups at the World Café and get to know many other participants personally. At the end of the event, you can network with the other participants over dinner and drinks and let the evening come to a relaxed close. Please regard that the event will take place in German.

We are excited to announce the first Idea Generation Workshop on Human-AI Collaboration Research. Our goal is to bring together young researchers and experts from various disciplines, to identify and discuss interesting and relevant research questions in the field.

The workshop takes place over two days at the University of Cologne, during September 28-29, 2023. The program includes a key note (by Prof. Ekaterina Jussupow), talks, lighting talks and round tables, accompanied by coffee breaks, lunch and dinner.
