The ZIB Wiso offers a secondary STAP selection round with a reduced list of universities available for a term abroad in spring term 2024. The extended application deadline will be 15 June 2023. Students have to apply through the WEX platform.

All information on application requirements and recommendations are listed in the STAP Bachelor application manual (available here).

We strongly recommend discussing your application with your ZIB coordinator Mareike Laub – either by e-mail (mareike.laubuni-koeln.de ) or an individual appointment (ZOOM or in-person). You can find the contact details and more information here.

FILTERtests for English language certificate

Bachelor students, who need a proof of English language proficiency (i.e. for their STAP application for a term abroad), can now register for the FILTERtest offered in May 2023. For more information on dates and registration, please visit our website. Please note that we strongly recommend an early registration.

On 07.07.2023 at 5 pm, the Dialogue Night will take place at the WiSo Faculty of the University of Cologne under the title "The AI revolution: Are we ready for the future?". Here you will meet high-level entrepreneurs as well as other ambitious students in a casual atmosphere and expand your network. There will be about 50 students and about 25 entrepreneurs, scientists and AI experts on site.

The event will start with a panel discussion with representatives from business and academia to shed light on the evening's topic from different angles. The speakers will be announced over the next few weeks: So feel free to check out our social media channels to not miss any info à @worldbusinessdialogue.

After the discussion, you will have the opportunity to exchange ideas in small groups at the World Café. At the end of the event, you can network with the other participants over a flying dinner and drinks.

One ticket costs 10 €.

We are pleased to present an event in cooperation with Deloitte: An exciting workshop on Audit & Assurance!

We will start with a case study, which will revolve around a start-up that that combines experiential travel, sustainability and innovative spirit in one business model. However, accounting and risks have they have little in the way of accounting and risks. And this is where you come in! Under the guidance of experienced colleagues from Deloitte, you will work together with other participants, you will solve all the important tasks in this exciting project. Thus you have the opportunity to get to know everyday challenges in the areas of in Audit & Assurance and ask your questions about your career and your questions about your career and your entry.

We invite you to participate in the Finance Accelerator Workshop of AmplifyME and KBV in partnership with Morgan Stanley. This will take place on 25.05.2023 from 6:00 p.m. - 08:00 p.m. in seminar room 3 / 4., building 24.31, Oeconomicum of the HHU in Düsseldorf. Here we will deal with building, investing and managing a $20M portfolio and you can experience the responsibilities of an investment banker. Furthermore, we will talk about internship opportunities at Morgan Stanley and you will work with the same software as the IB interns.
