WiSo Professor Clemens Kroneberg Appointed to the Advisory Board of the Crime Research Institute at the German Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA)

Professor Clemens Kroneberg will contribute his sociological expertise on criminological issues to the Research Advisory Board of the BKA.

The board advises, among other things, on the strategic direction of the social science research conducted by the Crime Research Institute and supports both national and international networking activities.

Professor Kroneberg is a Professor of Sociology at the Department of Sociology and Social Psychology at the University of Cologne. He is also a member of the Cluster of Excellence ECONtribute (Universities of Bonn and Cologne) and a Fellow of the European Academy of Sociology. His research interests include analytical sociology, crime and delinquency, as well as social boundaries and ethnic diversity.

We are delighted about Professor Kroneberg’s appointment to the BKA Advisory Board and his contribution to forward-looking, evidence-based, and practice-oriented research.
