VHB appoints Martin P. Fritze as marketing expert

With a new expert platform, the Association of University Teachers of Business Administration wants to make the social importance of science more visible.

Economic expertise is undisputedly of the highest social relevance today. This is reflected not least in the interdisciplinary approach of the WiSo Faculty, which combines business administration, economics, sociology and political science under one roof.

The interest in economic knowledge has continuously increased in recent years. Therefore, it remains almost astonishing how the importance of business administrations, whose findings go far beyond private business management is still underestimated in the media in this respect.

The Association of University Teachers of Business Administration (Verband der Hochschullehrer für Betriebswirtschaft e.V.) now wants to remedy this situation. With the new platform VHB experts, the association, to which around 2,700 academics from German-speaking countries are affiliated, offers journalists the opportunity to quickly and precisely find specialist knowledge on their current research or interview topic.

The database contains 145 university teachers who can provide information on current issues in their field. Expert for marketing is Assistant Professor Dr Martin P. Fritze, from the Marketing Area of the WiSo Faculty, Director of the Institute of Trade Fair Management. The proven expert in the fields of consumer behaviour and service marketing has not at least distinguished himself with his work on the Sharing Economy and the dematerialisation of consumption. A detailed portrait can be found at "Find-an-Expert" of the WiSo Faculty.
