"Which of these 200 universities are you most comfortable hiring graduates from?" This, in brief, is the core question of the annual personnel ranking of the Wirtschaftswoche among almost 600 personnel managers of German companies. The WiSo Faculty 2020 once again achieved outstanding results in this ranking. With regard to the career opportunities of its graduates, the University of Cologne continues to be a top address for studies in business administration, economics or business informatics (which are amon others are distinguished in the Ranking).
This also applies to the areas in which private universities achieve good ranking positions. For example, the interviewed personnel managers put the WiSo faculty in 3rd place among business studies graduates.In the area of economics, which according to Wirtschaftswoche is the "tightest" section of the entire ranking, the WiSo faculty is in 2nd place, improving one place on the previous year. Last but not least, the University of Cologne is also among the top ten educational institutions among the listed universities and universities of applied sciences in the area of business informatics, with a 6th place.
