The Greek-American health scientist John Ioannidis published the highly regarded paper “Why Most Published Research Findings Are False” in 2005. Today, he is one of the most cited and influential scientists in the world and has gained international recognition, particularly through his comprehensive criticism of methods. On August 30, 2018, the Rehnborg Professor in Disease Prevention (Stanford University) will give a Meet the Expert workshop at ceres on the topic “Knowledge is Truth? Generating Medical Evidence in a Digital Age.”

Researchers and students are cordially invited to discuss with Professor Ioannidis personally in an exclusive workshop environment. If you are interested in participating, please register until August 27 via the ceres website. The number of participants is limited to 20 people.
