Starting January 1, 2025, the WiSo Faculty at the University of Cologne is proud to announce a new partnership with HARIBO. This collaboration aims to strengthen the connection between academia, industry, and practice, offering students exciting opportunities to learn from one of the world’s leading confectionery companies.

The partnership will unfold on multiple levels, including joint projects, events, and hands-on initiatives that enhance the academic experience with real-world insights. Our Heritage:

WiSo was founded in 1901 as a School of Commerce. Since then, it has extended its scope to Economics, Sociology, and Politics. Now, we have over a century of experience in the education of new generations of business professionals, economists, sociologists, and political experts. During this time, we have developed a tradition of close dialogue with our stakeholders and have focused on scientific research that is relevant to the corporate world, to economic policy, and to society at large. We are located in the heart of Europe, in a city that has been a centre of international trade and commerce for over two thousand years.
