Artificial intelligence changes the work environment of the present and the future. The use of robots and intelligent machines is constantly increasing. In order to facilitate the ethical use of artificial intelligence in HR work for employers and companies, the so-called "Ethics Advisory Board HR-Tech" presented a draft for guidelines for the responsible practice-oriented use of artificial intelligence (AI) in HR management last week.

Prof Dr Bernd Irlenbusch from the Seminar for Business Administration, Corporate Development and Economic Ethics made a significant contribution as a member of the committee towards the definition of these guidelines and significantly shaped the discourse on the framework conditions for AI in HR work in Germany. The guidelines define, for example, the transparent use of AI as well as their liability and responsibility in human resources work. In addition, it is intended to ensure that people keep decision-making authority for important issues in HR.
