Reform and future of federal fiscal relations in Germany

Dr. Michael Thöne is Executive Member of the Board of the Institute for Public Economics at the University of Cologne and, together with Jens Bullerjahn, former Minister of Finance and Deputy Prime Minister of Saxony-Anhalt, has published a new study on the reform and future of federal fiscal relations in Germany.

In the study, they analyze the success factors of German federalism from a development policy perspective. From an internal perspective, they outline the next challenges with a 6-point reform agenda.
