The CEMS Master in International Management (CEMS MIM) is ranked eleventh out of around 200 management degree programmes worldwide in the current QS Business Master's Rankings 2024: Management. Compared to last year's QS Masters in Management (MiM) ranking, CEMS thus improved by one place.

The pioneer of modern, international management education is thus among the top 5.5% worldwide with an overall score of 86.4 out of 100 in the QS 2024 MiM ranking. The MIM performed particularly strongly in the value for money indicator group scoring an impressive 96.8 out of 100, well above the global average of 61.7, an aspect also highlighted by CEMS Executive Director Nicole de Fontaines: "We are delighted that the CEMS Alliance MIM continues to rise in the QS rankings. The ranking recognises that our unique alliance of business schools and corporate partners offers students excellent value for money. CEMS schools are linked by a quality assurance system and students follow a jointly defined curriculum, including working on consultancy projects and completing internships at corporate partners."

Overall, CEMS MIM performed better than the global average in all indicator groups. Out of a possible hundred points CEMS scored 84.7 for diversity (global average 63.9), 82.9 for though leadership (global average 51.9), 82.6 for employability (global average 49.6) of graduates and 79.5 in the Outcomes Index, which examines the 'background' of some 50,000 executives and board members of the world's largest companies (global average 48.7).

The Master in international Management (CEMS MIM) is offered by the global network CEMS, an alliance of 34 leading business schools across five continents and more than 80 multinational companies and NGOs. Only one of the most renowned schools in a country can become a member of this alliance. The University of Cologne represents Germany. Adjusted for the degree programmes offered by German universities in the ranking, the CEMS MIM achieves a clear first place, with difference of 10.8 points in the overall scoring to the second-placed 'Master of Science in Management' of the WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management.

The CEMS MIM was founded in 1988 by the universities of Cologne (Germany), HEC (France), Bocconi (Italy) and ESADE (Spain). The unique organisational structure guarantees the sustainable future orientation of the programme. Nicole de Fontaines: This unique alliance ensures the top quality of the CEMS student experience and exceptional employability of our graduates. Our members work together to educate the next generation of responsible business leaders.”
