Prof. Dr Christian Schwens becomes a new Field Editor with responsibilities in the area of International Entrepreneurship for the Journal of Business Venturing (JBV). JBV is the leading journal in the area of entrepreneurship worldwide publishing interdisciplinary research from a wide range of areas including management, economics, psychology, and sociology.
With Prof. Dr Christian Schwens as the new editor, the JBV receives the support of an active and renowned academic. Since 2018, Professor Schwens holds the current WiSo Professorship for Entrepreneurship and Management. Since 2019, he also serves as the Scientific Director of the Gateway Excellence Start-up Center - the start-up incubator of the University of Cologne. Christian Schwens' research in the field of entrepreneurship focuses on International, Corporate & Hybrid Entrepreneurship, as well as Entrepreneurship & Well-Being. His research has been published in leading journals such as Strategic Management Journal, Entrepreneurship Theory & Practice, Journal of Business Venturing, Journal of International Business Studies, and Journal of Management Studies.
