We are pleased to welcome Dr Annabelle Hofer to the WiSo-Faculty. As Juniorprofessor of Organizational Behavior, she will strengthen our Corporate Development Area. With Prof. Dr Annabelle Hofer, we have been able to gain a highly committed scientist, with pronounced expertise in teaching. On behalf of the entire faculty, Dean Ulrich Thonemann welcomed Prof. Dr Annabelle Hofer to the WiSo at the beginning of September.
Prof. Dr Annabelle Hofer’s research focuses on sustainable organisational behavior and human resource management. This also includes sustainable career development, with a focus on the integration of health, well-being, and productivity. Furthermore, Prof. Dr Annabelle Hofer’s research deals with specific insecurities, such as career shocks or career insecurity, and examines career-related attitudes. Her research makes an essential contribution to the understanding of sustainable career and organisational development in times of digitalisation and “New Work”. Her research is published in high-ranked international journals.
Prof. Dr Annabelle Hofer has also been intensively involved in teaching. Most recently, she lectured at the University of Bern, where she also completed her doctorate, and the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences - Business. Applied research methods in work and organisational psychology, and human resource development, were central subjects of her teaching, as were business psychology, motivational and occupational psychology.
