Advent magic at the WiSo coffee bar!
The team at Kaffeebar WiSo has prepared an Advent calendar for you:
From 1st December, two doors will open every day, as the cosy coffee bar closes on 15th December. Three doors will even be opened on 6th and 15th December!
The honour of opening one of the doors goes to the 100th and 200th visitor. On 6th and 15th December, the 150th visitor can also open one of the doors!
Don't forget: This magical Advent calendar is available exclusively at the WiSo coffee bar.
Info session WiSSPo 2+ "Get started – Tips for searching an internship and career planning"
After two exciting info sessions, we will now continue with the topic "Finding an internship and career planning": Why are internships and company contacts important? Where can I find an exciting internship? And what is the best way to apply? We will provide you with information on all aspects of career prospects, internships and CV checks. We will also introduce you to our alumni network, where you can already benefit from numerous contacts.

Buddy Programme for the summer term 2024
For visiting students of the WiSo Faculty
Each term, the International Relations Center at the WiSo Faculty (ZIB WiSo) and the PIM and CEMS Student and Alumni Club Cologne e.V. organise a Buddy Programme for guest students from the WiSo Faculty's partner universities. At the beginning of each term, ZIB WiSo looks for students and doctoral candidates interested in mentoring guest students for that term.
In fall we expect most of our incomings to arrive in Cologne in March.
Benefits of the Buddy Programme:
- Meet students from all over the world
- Participate in the "Welcome Days"
- Participate in a number of exciting, international social events
- Develop your language skills
- Demonstrate social commitment during your studies
- Receive first-hand information about partner universities as perfect preparation for your exchange term

Ludwig-Erhard-Lecture 2023
On Wednesday, 6th December 2023 (5.45pm – 7.15pm, Aula 2), the Ludwig Erhard Lecture 2023 will take place at the University of Cologne.
Prof Lars Feld, former Chairman of the German Council of Economic Experts, will speak on the topic of "60 Years of the German Council of Economic Experts".
The Ludwig Erhard Lecture 2023 is a joint event organised by the Ludwig Erhard Foundation, the Konrad Adenauer Foundation and the Institute for Economic Policy at the University of Cologne.
The event is open to the public.
