The year is drawing to an end and the WiSSPo is going into a short but well-deserved winter rest. We can therefore be contacted as follows at the turn of the year:

• From 23rd December 2023 until 7th January 2024, the WiSSPo will be closed on site.
• From 23rd December 2023 until 1st January 2024, mails are neither answered nor applications processed or forwarded.
• From 2nd until 7th January 2024, the WiSSPo will be available by email via the contact form and we will be happy to call you back if required.

· From 8th January 2024, the WiSSPo will be available to you again during regular office hours with the full range of services and study guidance.

Important: From 23rd December 2023, documents and applications that are due by a deadline can be submitted digitally as a PDF by e-mail via the contact form or via the WiSo Inbox.

Dear graduate,

you have received your last exam result between May 17, 2023 and January 2, 2024? Then you can participate in the graduation ceremony on January 27, 2024. Since December 1, 2023 it is possible to buy tickets for the graduation ceremony and the aftershow party. Due to the high demand, we expect that the tickets will be sold out within the next weeks.

Each year, the WiSo Faculty offers its students the unique opportunity to participate in an exciting and challenging intensive programme in the heart of New York City: WiSo@NYC.

WiSo@NYC allows you to seamlessly integrate a short stay abroad into your Master studies: as part of the programme, which takes place during the lecture-free period (5 August – 13 September 2024), you can earn up to 24 ECTS towards your degree. Courses include Negotiation Strategies, Information Systems, Strategy & Operations, Ethics Issues in Contemporary Business, and Leadership in Practise.

In addition to these practice-oriented courses with international guest lecturers, a variety of company visits and cultural eventsare part of the programme. Special emphasis is placed on making initial professional contacts and getting to know the business world in one of the most vibrant cities in the USA.

Studies Abroad in academic year 2024/25 – opening of the STAP Main Selection Round

The ZIB invites Master students to apply for a term abroad within the STAP Programme. The current STAP Main Selection Round offers a term abroad either in fall 2024 or in spring 2025. Applications are accepted until 15 January 2024 through the WiSo exchange database (WEX).
