Marc Fischer, Professor of Marketing Science and Analytics, has been appointed co-editor of the Journal of Marketing. The team of five editors under the lead of Professor Jan-Benedict E.M. Steenkamp from Kenan-Flagler Business School, UNC-Chapel Hill, will start their three-year term on July 1, 2025. 

The Journal of Marketing is the oldest and most influential top-tier journal in the field according to its citation-based impact factor. It is is the premier outlet for substantive research in marketing and bridges the gap between theory and application. Fischer is the first appointment from an institution located in Europe.
