The Cologne Institute for Information Systems (CIIS) of the WiSo Faculty is one of the best ranked information systems research institutions worldwide (e.g., based on rankings of the AIS over the past five years 3rd in Europe and 1st in Germany). The CIIS is formed by the research teams at the Chairs for Digital Transformation and Analytics, Information Management, Integrated Information Systems, Information Systems for Sustainable Society, and Systems Development.
