The CEMS network is a Global Alliance of 34 leading business schools across five continents and more than 70 multinational corporations and NGOs that jointly offer the CEMS Master in International Management (CEMS MIM). An international focus and strong links with industry and business set the programme apart from others. Alongside internationally aligned courses, Skill Seminars and Business Projects, it includes an internship abroad and a term at a CEMS partner institution in another country.

Join the Buddy Programme in Spring 2024

Each term, the International Relations Center at the WiSo Faculty (ZIB WiSo) and the PIM and CEMS Student and Alumni Club Cologne e.V. organise a Buddy Programme for guest students from the WiSo Faculty's partner universities. At the beginning of each term, ZIB WiSo looks for students and doctoral candidates interested in mentoring guest students for that term. You will serve as point of contact for the students in everyday questions regarding the (social) student life in Cologne. For all administrative and academic matters as well as problems of any kind, the ZIB WiSo remains the main point of contact for incoming students.

Applications now open for WiSo@London & WiSo@New York

Our academic short programmes WiSo@London and WiSo@NYC allow you to seamlessly integrate a short stay abroad into your programme of studies at the WiSo Faculty. In addition to three or four courses taught by international guest lecturers, the programmes include a variety of company visits and cultural events. Special emphasis is placed on making initial professional contacts and getting to know the working world in one of the most vibrant cities in the UK and the USA.

CEMS DACH Forum at the University of Cologne

After the CEMS UN Model FCCC Roleplay in May, the WiSo Faculty of the University of Cologne hosted another of the most important CEMS events in the academic year shortly afterwards: The CEMS DACH Forum, a regional conference rotating between the Vienna University of Economics and Business, the University of Cologne and the University of St. Gallen. This year's CEMS DACH Forum From May 30th to June 2nd under the academic leadership of Prof. Dr Marc Oliver Bettzüge (holder of the WiSo Chair of Energy Economics) addressed the topic “Global Strategy in a Fragmenting World”. Buddy Programme – Cologne students for international students

Each term, the International Relations Center at the WiSo Faculty (ZIB WiSo) and the PIM and CEMS Student and Alumni Club Cologne e.V. organise a Buddy Programme for guest students from the WiSo Faculty's partner universities. At the beginning of each term, ZIB WiSo looks for students and doctoral candidates interested in mentoring guest students for that term.

In fall we expect most of our incomings to arrive in Cologne in September.

DBi Germany - Future of Mobility Short Programme

Over the past two weeks, the Doing Business in Germany: Future of mobility programme has been underway. The group of 25 visiting scholars from 10 different countries has been travelling throughout Germany, exploring the challenges ahead for the future of mobility. Students in both the Automotive and Sustainable Transportation tracks have had the opportunity to meet with top players within the transport and energy sector and learn about the the perspective of the politics behind sector-related issues. World Climate Conference at the University of Cologne

How do the UN climate negotiations actually work? In mid-May, it was precisely this question that unites master's students at the University of Cologne and other business schools of the CEMS network.
