Career Prospects Economics

Where exactly can I work with my degree in economics? To help you with your career orientation, former economics graduates will be coming to your university for Career Tuesday “Career Prospects in Economics” to show you how they entered professional life after their studies, what challenges they overcame along the way, and what further career prospects opened up for them. You will receive tips and suggestions for your potential internship or job preferences and have the opportunity to network.

The event is being held in collaboration with WiSo Alumni.

We look forward to welcoming the following alumni:

Daniel Meyer

Daniel Meyer studied economics at the University of Cologne, completing both his bachelor's and master's degrees, and supplemented his studies with business administration subjects in the field of finance, focusing on monetary policy and energy economics in his master's degree. In addition to a semester abroad in Glasgow, he gained practical experience during his studies through two working student jobs in asset management and credit management. After graduating, he started his career at KfW DEG in Cologne in the field of international financing for companies in countries of the Global South. He then switched sides and has been working for the project developer JUWI GmbH in the field of financing renewable energy projects in Germany for over two years.
