The gender pay gap arises not only from structural inequality, but also from the fact that women negotiate less often, encounter more resistance when they do, and are confronted with counterarguments that men in the same position don’t face. In this interactive keynote presentation, you’ll learn how to accurately assess your market value, what the “salary square” is all about, and how to use it to derive a realistic salary goal. We’ll examine how gender bias manifests itself in specific negotiation situations—such as in reactions to your demeanor or in typical “killer phrases”—and how to handle these situations with confidence. You’ll develop a negotiation strategy tailored to you and your situation, based on proven concepts from real-world practice and research. You’ll discover which levers exist beyond base salary and how to use them strategically.

Jessica Kreuzer
Founder of the Gehalt Offensive, she played in the Women’s Bundesliga at age 19. After earning her master’s degree in economics, she took on leadership roles at an international corporation—in controlling, recruiting, sales, and corporate development. For over 10 years, she managed large teams and conducted numerous salary negotiations on both sides of the table. Today, as a salary negotiation expert, she already collaborates with over 20 universities in the DACH region.
