Orientation phase WiSo Student Council
Every semester, the WiSo student council successfully organises the Bachelor's (O-Phase) and Master's (MO-Phase) orientation phase. An O-Phase is also planned for the winter semester 2021/22. Registration is required for this. Information can be found here.
As an additional offer, the first-semester blog of the student council is available to first-year students with important information about the start of their studies. During the O-Phase, all first-semester students are divided into peer groups (max. 25 people) so that you can get to know your fellow students directly and network with them. The peer groups are accompanied by mentors from higher semesters, who are happy to answer questions about timetabling, course allocation and student life in Cologne. Further contents of the O-Phase include a discussion with professors, a campus tour and a small rally. Please note: Due to the corona situation, there may be a digital offer instead.
Questions about the orientation phase can be sent directly to the WiSo student council.
First-year students in B.Sc. Management, Economics and Social Sciences
For first-year students of the B.Sc. Management, Economics and Social Sciences (MES), the department is planning an additional orientation week, also with on-site presence. This will probably take place at the end of September or beginning of October in coordination with the O-phase. The colleagues are currently working feverishly on the realisation of the on-site event. The exact period will be announced as soon as possible on the programme's website.
