Please read the information on this website under section 2/2 -> B for the procedure.
Would you like to register for M.Sc. Economic Research? Then please refer to the information on this website under section 2/2 -> A.

If you are currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program at another university and will not take your last exam until winter semester 20/21, you should first register at the UoC with a second audience status. As soon as you have completed your Bachelor's degree at your other university, you will be transferred to the Master's programme at the University of Cologne as a student with first audience. However, you can still take exams in the Master's programme at the UoC in fall term 20/21. Please note, however, that enrolment and the document check with your Bachelor's degree must be completed by March 31, 2021 at the latest.

Prove your Bachelor's degree at the WiSSPo
Who? | When? | How? |
---|---|---|
All students due to document check | Till 5 February, 2021 | Postal (or i.a. in person) via WiSo Student Service Point |
Important:
If, at the time of application, you had not yet completed your Bachelor's degree, admission is subject to the timely completion of your degree course by 30 Sepetmber. In this case, examinations taken in the first semester of your Master's degree course are also not valid if your Bachelor's degree was not completed on time and admission is withdrawn.
The following applies in this case: All outstanding exams in the Bachelor must be completed (taken, not graded) by 30 September!
As proof, you must present your Bachelor's degree certificate as part of the document check of the Master's enrolment at the WiSo Student Service Point. The data will then be transmitted to the Student's Registration Office so that your re-registration block for summer term 2021 will be removed. Please send the certified copy of the Bachelor's diploma or the final certificate together with your other documents in the context of the document check to the WiSSPo by 5 February 2021 (see enrolment procedure).
Note for UoC Bachelor students:
In accordance with the Corona University Ordinance (§1 of the Rectorate's decision), UoC Bachelor's students in winter semester 2020/21 may be enrolled simultaneously in their last Bachelor's and first Master's semester. The above-mentioned deadline of 30 Sep for taking the last Bachelor's examination therefore does not apply to UoC students in 2020. However, the last Bachelor's examination should be taken as soon as possible so that you are then only enrolled in the Master's degree course. You must present your Bachelor's degree certificate at the WiSo Student Service Point by 31 March 2021 at the latest. We recommend to do this in the course of the document check by 5 February 2021.
Receive your WiSo welcome gift
