From the Ground Up: Leadership Learnings from 18 Years at METRO

Join us for an inspiring and practical session on global leadership at METRO. Gonzalo Ramon Relanzon, with 18 years of experience across international roles, will share his personal leadership journey - starting from unloading trucks in a METRO store in Spain to leading teams across borders. His story highlights how empathy, authenticity, and handson experience shape effective leadership in a global business environment.

Sanja Halilkanovic will complement the session with insights into how METRO designs and delivers leadership development programs, offering a behind-the-scenes look at how theory meets practice in a multinational company.

METRO experts will share practical strategies on clear communication, overcoming challenges, and guiding others effectively. You will also have the opportunity to exchange with experienced professionals and gain insights into how leadership is lived in everyday work.
