In cooperation with the Cologne Graduate School (CGS), we warmly invite all interested students to the “Career Tuesday – PhD: Your Career Option”, an event focused entirely on pursuing a PhD and launching an academic career.

This event aims to support future PhD candidates in getting started with their doctoral journey and to inspire interested students to consider a PhD. The goal is to provide a realistic perspective on what pursuing a PhD involves and what this career path might mean for one's future. Nicolas Röver, a PhD candidate at the Faculty of Management, Economics and Social Sciences (WiSo Faculty), will present his PhD journey – including all its highs and lows. In this context, current research topics and areas of focus will also be shared to give an impression of the diverse and wide-ranging research landscape at the WiSo Faculty. Finally, the event will provide information on PhD requirements, the application process, opportunities to start a PhD at the WiSo Faculty, and available funding options.
