Prof. Dr Reinhard Kunz (Media and Technology Management, WiSo Faculty, University of Cologne) was presented the Best Reviewer Award at the 2021 Annual Conference of the European Academy of Management (EURAM). The conference themed Reshaping capitalism for a sustainable world took place online from 16 to 18 June 2021. He was nominated by the EURAM Managing Sport Strategic Interest Group (SIG).
The Managing Sport SIG is a network of academics, specialists, athletes and sports managers. The main interests are aspects of the internationalisation, professionalisation and commercialisation of sport in theory and practice. The SIG acts as a protected space for the development and dissemination of exciting ideas in the field of business and the management of sport. Prof. Dr Kunz regularly contributes to the Managing Sport SIG with his research at the interface of sports, media and digital technologies.
Prof. Dr Kunz has been working at the Institute for Media and Technology Management of the University of Cologne since August 2018. His research focuses on innovation in the fields of business models in strategic media management, management of digital media and technologies, proactive decision-making, service-dominant logic in marketing, actor engagement in service ecosystems, and media and technology consumer behaviour.
