WiSo Professor Dr. Anne Burmeister Appointed Associate Editor of the Journal of Applied Psychology

Prof. Anne Burmeister was appointed associate editor of the Journal of Applied Psychology in January 2026. With her in-depth scientific expertise, she helps advance and shape important research contributions in the field of applied psychology and actively contributes to the international research landscape - in keeping with our mission statement, “Today’s ideas. Tomorrow’s impact.”

The Journal of Applied Psychology, with an impact factor of 6.1, focuses on publishing original research that provides new insights and a new understanding in the fields of applied psychology. The journal primarily considers empirical and theoretical studies that advance the understanding of cognitive, motivational, affective, and behavioral psychological phenomena in the broadest sense of the work and organizational context.

Prof. Anne Burmeister holds the Chair of Organizational Behavior at the WiSo Faculty. Her research on social interactions, knowledge exchange, and inclusion in the workplace contributes to more effective management of knowledge and diversity in organizations. Previously, she served as an associate professor of human resource management at the Rotterdam School of Management at Erasmus University.
