Success for WiSo-Professor Wolfgang Ketter

WiSo-Professor Wolfgang Ketter receives the Association for Information Systems Impact Award 2020

Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Ketter, Coordinator of the WiSo-Key Research Initiative "Sustainable, Smart Energy & Mobility" and Director of the Institute of Energy Economics at the University of Cologne (EWI) was awarded the AIS Impact Award 2020.

The Association for Information Systems Impact Award is one of the most important prizes in business informatics worldwide and focuses primarily on the practical impact of academic work and the relevance for business informatics research.

With their work "Artificial Intelligence in the Floriculture Chain", Professor Wolfgang Ketter, together with Alok Gupta (University of Minnesota), Yixin Lu (The George Washington University School of Business), Huong May Truong (Erasmus University) and Eric van Heck (Erasmus University) were able to receive the award this year.

AIS (The Association for Information Systems) supports society by advancing knowledge and promoting excellence in the practice of information systems. In doing so, AIS is the leading professional association for individuals and organisations promoting research, teaching, practice and the study of information systems. AIS currently networks members from approximately 100 countries.
