International learning, teaching and research!

Internationalisation at the WiSo Faculty

Internationalisation is a top priority for us and plays an integral role at all Faculty levels. With a wide range of international programmes and numerous strategic partnerships, we set standards in Germany and beyond.

We are the only German university to be a member of the internationally renowned CEMS network (the Global Alliance in Management Education) and PIM (Partnership in International Management).

Partnerships with world-class universities form the foundation of our numerous international activities. Our attractive portfolio of international study programmes has been developed to offer German and international students the opportunity to study in an intercultural environment.

In addition, we enable our students to gain valuable international experience during their studies. This can be done by, for example, spending an exchange term abroad at one of our more than 130 partner universities or attending one of our international summer schools, which offer insights into other cultures and teaching methods.

We also promote internationalisation on our campus by offering English classes at individual language levels as well as lectures with international speakers. Through the involvement of international professors, cooperation with business, lecture series and numerous student activities, a unique international infrastructure is created for an annual 450 guests.

The Faculty's strategy is successfully implemented through an intercultural research environment, intensive exchange at doctoral level, numerous international research collaborations and close contacts with international companies.
