Today's ideas. Tomorrow's impact.

The Faculty of Management, Economics and Social Sciences („WiSo Faculty“)  was founded in 1901 as a School of Commerce. Since then, it has extended its scope to Economics, Sociology, and Politics. We have now over a century of experience in the education of new generations of business professionals, economists, sociologists, and political experts. During this time, we have developed a tradition of close dialogue with our stakeholders and a focus on scientific research that is relevant to the corpo-rate world, to economic policy, and to society at large. We are located in the heart of Europe, in a city that has been a centre of international trade and commerce for over two thousand years.

Our Values

The School's core values are integrity, respect for others, teamwork, the maintenance of a critical outlook, commitment to high quality, passion, and a spirit of innovation.

"My idea is to ensure that subsequent generations inherit a healthy planet on which life will still be worth living"
