Running Cocktails is back! Join us for a fun and social evening where you’ll move from one location to another in small groups. At each stop, a different team will host and serve a cocktail. It’s a great opportunity to meet new people and discover different places around Cologne.

From Idea to Start-up in 5 Days – at the Gateway Start-up Summer School

Do you have an idea but don’t know how to turn it into reality yet? Would you like to start a business but still need to develop your idea? Then the Gateway Start-up Summer School is just right for you!
What to expect
Hands-on workshops and talks with experienced mentors
Networking with like-minded aspiring founders and start-up experts
Work on your own idea or join a team and present your business model in the final pitches
Who can participate
Students and researchers from the Gateway universities (University of Cologne, TH Köln – University of Applied Sciences, German Sport University Cologne, CBS International Business School, and Rheinische Hochschule Köln)

International Degree BUDDIES wanted!
Become a WiSo BUDDY and support international Master’s students as they start their journey in Cologne and at the university. As a Buddy, you’ll be a first point of contact for questions about studying, campus life, and everyday life in Cologne. Share your experiences, help new students feel welcome, and build valuable international connections while making their start at WiSo easier and more enjoyable.
The Buddy programme focuses on supporting new students during their first months in Cologne. You are free to decide how you stay in touch and shape the exchange together with your Buddy — whether through meeting for coffee, answering questions online, or sharing helpful tips along the way.
