Take the Opportunity: Earn Your Master of Science in Business Analytics & AI – No Numerus Clausus (NC)
Understand data, harness the power of Artificial Intelligence and lead organisations through digital transformation – that is exactly what the new Master in Business Analytics & AI (M.Sc.) is designed to prepare you for.
This part-time, English-taught programme is designed for graduates from a wide range of academic backgrounds who want to deepen their expertise in Business Analytics, Artificial Intelligence and data-driven business management. There is no numerus clausus (NC) for admission. Applications, admissions and programme management are handled by the University of Cologne Business School. Enrolment takes place at the University of Cologne, which awards the internationally recognised Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree upon successful completion.
Over the course of just 18 months, you will explore key topics including Machine Learning, Data Analytics, AI Strategy, Digital Transformation and Leadership. You will learn not only how to analyse data, but also how to translate data-driven insights into informed business decisions and sustainable competitive advantage.
The flexible part-time format allows you to gain valuable professional experience or continue your current career while studying – without compromising on academic quality. Small class sizes, internationally experienced lecturers and close collaboration with industry create a personal, practice-oriented learning environment and provide excellent networking opportunities for your future career.

Free A1 German Course – Limited Spots Available
Dear international Master’s students,
we are once again offering a German course at A1 level as a pre-semester course in winter term 2026/27.
The course is limited to 20 participants, so early registration is highly recommended. This course is a great opportunity to build a first foundation in German, including basic Business German skills which are essential for your job entry here. It will also help you navigate everyday life and beyond language learning, the course offers a wonderful chance to meet fellow students, expand your network, and become part of a supportive international community.
Course details:
- Level: A1 (Beginner)
- Dates: 7 Sept - 8 Oct 2026
- Schedule: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, 5:00–8:30 PM
- Location: On campus (in person)
- Fee: Free of charge
If you would like to participate in the course, please register by emailing from your s-mail to: wiso-germancourse@uni-koeln.de until 13 August, 2026 at the latest, stating:
- your name
- your matriculation number
- your degree programme
Places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that attendance is mandatory if you are interested in getting the official certificate at the end.

Business English for Winter Semester 2026/27 – Placement test sessions are currently running!
Are you planning to participate in an exchange programme via the WiSo faculty? Now is your chance to start your preparations by obtaining a certified proof of your English language skills. We’re still accepting new registrations for the Business English course during the winter semester 2026/27. Placement test dates will still be offered until the end of September. If you are looking for further developing your communication skills with focus on appropriate Business English, this could be the ideal course for you!
Courses are open to all WiSo Faculty students. Bachelor’s students of most study programmes and incoming guest students have the opportunity to gain 6 ECTS within the module Studium Integrale upon successful completion of the course. Master’s students can take the course as part of their Extracurricular Modules.
